River of Life Church

Welcome to River of Life Church.  Located just east of Danville, VA, we are a relational church whose earnest desire is to follow the Lord Jesus Christ.  Situated on nearly 50 acres, the county location of our ministry facility lends itself to a restful and relaxing experience, yet  we are close enough to town to be convenient.  We serve Danville and Ringgold, VA as well as Milton, Semora, and Roxboro, NC and points between.  Our services are contemporary, our dress is casual.  We invite you to come as you are.

HELPING HAITI

River of Life Church has a long history of involvement with the nation of Haiti.  Since 1984, we have worked with Bethanie Evangelical Mission of Haiti to assist in their Children's Sponsorship program and have assisted in building a number of churches and schools. 

In the face of the catastrophic earthquake that struck the nation on January 12, we continue that involvement in a couple of ways:

First: we have sent more than $1100.00 to Pastor Ignace Augustin of Bethanie Mission for direct assistance to people in need.  All the funds sent will be used for that purpose and not administrative costs, etc.  We invite you to join in that effort.  You may donate through PayPal on their website  (www.bethaniemission.org)  or you may send donations to River of Life Church with "Haiti Help" in the memo.

We are also collecting items for God's Pit Crew.  Of particular need is bottled water, easy-open canned foods, and monetary gifts. If you wish to donate directly yo them, you may do so at www.thegodspitcrew.org or at RLC.
