A LOOK AT THE LIFE SCHOOL SCHEDULE FOR ADULTS

   The Adult class of Life School will begin a new series Feb.28 entitled, The Love of God. Mike Hopper is scheduled to launch the series with "The Father’s Heart of God". Other topics will include:

3/07 – "Love One Another -a New Commandment" - Richard Gardner

3/14 – "God So Loved the World" - Jamie Harris

3/21 – "Nothing Can Separate Us from the Love of God" – Jason Sudduth

2/28 Little Life Director to Speak

On Sunday, Feb 28, Carol Slaughter, Little Life Pregnancy Medical Center's new Executive Director, will address our congregation.  You are invited to hear how God is using this long-time volunteer in her new position at the head of a vital ministry.

3/3,10,17 PRAYER SERVICES

Our Wednesday weekly prayer meetings will begin at 7:00.  The March 3 and 10 gatherings will be held at the home of David & Nancy Fralin in Danville. Check your Directory or call the church office for the address if needed.  Our time together on March 17 will be at the church and will focus on the children of the church.

We will have no service on March 24 since we wil have a Stephen Ministry follow-up at the Smith home on Thursday, 3/25

 Please join us as we seek the Lord's face together.

OVERCOMERS OUTREACH

Gene Smith is facilitating a Christian 12-step program to help overcome any addiction. The group meets on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8-9 pm in the Dining Hall behind Hope Harbor at 1021 Main Street, Danville. For more info, contact Gene Smith at 434 822-6600

CHURCH VOLLEYBALL TEAM

River of Life Church's volleyball team plays on Tuesday evenings at North Main BC in Danville.  Come out and watch the fun.

READING TOGETHER

            Many people have difficulty following a devotional book or don’t really care for the stories that might accompany such studies.  Others just don’t know what to read in a personal time with the Word of God.  To assist in developing disciplines to enhance your communion with God, we encourage you to join with us as we read through the Books of Luke and Acts over the next year.  If you read one chapter per week, you’ll stay on track.
